Rocklin police seek three women in Dollar Tree armed robbery

The Rocklin Police Department seeks to identify three women who were involved in the armed robbery of a Dollar Tree store Monday night.

Police were called to the store at 6655 Lonetree Blvd. at 9:21 p.m. The victims reported that three women entered the store just before closing time.

One of the women, brandishing a silver handgun, grabbed a male employee an pulled him to the ground while holding the pistol with her other hand, according to a Police Department news release. The other two suspects held the male employee down while the suspect with the firearm ordered another employee to open the register drawers.

The suspect with the firearm then forced both employees to the manager's office, demanding more cash, authorities said. The suspects took the cash and left through the front door of the business.

The armed suspect was described a dark-skinned woman, possibly Hispanic, about 40 years old, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, weighing about 200 pounds with a tattoo of lips on her neck. She was wearing a black zip-up hooded sweatshirt.

The second suspect was described as a white, in her 30s, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing approximately 200 pounds with dirty blond hair. She was wearing a dark shirt and light-colored blue jeans.

The third woman was said to be dark-skinned with dark hair, also in her 30s, about 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing about 180 pounds and wearing dark baggy sweat pants.

Anyone with information regarding the robbery is asked to call the Rocklin Police Department at (916) 625-5400. Anonymous tips can bee submitted via the website at www.rocklinpd.com, or by texting the word "Rocklin" followed by the tip information to 847411.
