The Elk Grove Police Department seeks the community's help in identifying the suspects in the burglaries of two cell phone stores last week.
At 4:42 a.m. Friday, officers responded to an alarm call at the AT&T store at 9170 W. Stockton Blvd. and discovered that the business had been burglarized. While officers were investigating that break-in, another alarm call came in, this one at 5:11 a.m. at the T-Mobile store at 9308 Elk Grove Blvd.
Officers determined that more than $2,000 worth of Dr. Dre Beats headphones were stolen from the AT&T store and 10 cell phones were taken from the T-Mobile store, according to a Police Department news release.
Based on video surveillance, police described one suspect (left photo) as black, 6 feet tall and weighing about 150 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded and zippered sweat jacket, faded blue jeans, and black and white shoes, and was carrying a black backpack.
The other suspect (right photo) was described as black, 18 to 22 years old, about 6 feet tall and weighing about 150 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded and zippered sleeveless vest, blue jeans and black shoes.

Callers to Crime Alert can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. Tips also can be sent via SMS text message by entering 275637 on a cell phone, followed by Tip732 and the message.
