State and federal agents busted a large marijuana and meth operation in southeastern Sacramento county on Thursday, officials said.
About 350 marijuana plants and about 10 pounds of crystal methamphetamine were discovered on the site near Bradshaw and Elder Creek roads. In addition, 11 suspects were arrested on drug charges.
The grow site was spotted from the air about two months ago. A search warrant was served about 7 a.m. Thursday said Michelle Gregory, a public information for the state Department of Justice.
Agents from the Mountain and Valley Marijuana Investigation Team swooped in to find stables in a barn that were converted for processing of marijuana grown on site. Tarps hid the grow site from the road.
In other barns, holes had been dug to bury trash from a drug lab and to hide crystal methamphetamine.
Three weapons were confiscated. Three children at the property were turned over the Child Protective Services.
