Car part thieves target Woodland auto sales lot

Thieves stripped two vehicles on a Woodland car lot, police said.

Police were called Monday morning to Hoblit Chrysler Jeep Dodge, 333 Main St., where employees showed them two vehicles that had parts removed overnight.

A Dodge Charger was missing the left side front and rear doors, the front bumper, the right front quarter panel, the steering wheel, dashboard and stereo. The second vehicle, a Chevrolet HHR, was missing the driver side front and rear doors.

Loss was estimated at $12,000, police said. No suspect information was released.
