Citrus Heights police arrest 7 at home

Citrus Heights police struck out Monday night when they went looking for a suspect in a home on Sawgrass Circle -- but ended up booking seven other people at the residence on suspicion of various charges.

Officers went to the 7900 block of Sawgrass Circle in search of a woman wanted on suspicion of committing property crimes in the area. She was not at the home.

However, seven other people in the house, on parole or probation, were arrested on charges, including possession of dangerous drugs, possession of burglary tools and parole violations.

The original wanted suspect was found in Orangevale where she was arrested.
