The Sacramento County Coroner's Office has identified a woman found dead in a North Highlands parking lot last month as 23-year-old Myesha Fisher of Fairfield.
Fisher's body was discovered in the 3400 block of Myrtle Avenue early Aug. 28, after callers reported a woman down in the area.
Paramedics found Fisher, who suffered a gunshot wound to the upper body, and pronounced her dead at the scene.
Sacramento County sheriff's detectives learned that Fisher had last been seen shortly after midnight walking alone in the area. Nobody reported gunshots in the vicinity, and sheriff's Sgt. Jason Ramos said detectives have no leads in the case.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Sheriff's Department at (916) 874-5115 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP.
