Two Folsom residents have been arrested in connection with a bank robbery Monday afternoon in Roseville.
Officers responded at 12:59 p.m. to a robbery that had just occurred at the Bank of America in Roseville Square.
A man armed with a butcher knife approached a clerk and presented a note demanding money, according to a Roseville Police Department news release. The clerk gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash, and he left the bank. No injuries were reported.
Witnesses described the robber and an unshaven white male with a blond goatee, wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt and dark shorts.
A few minutes later, a Roseville officer spotted a man matching the suspect's description at a gas station at the corner of Douglas and Sierra College boulevards. They took him and a suspected accomplice into custody without incident.
Cody Taylor Oldach (left photo), 22, was arrested on suspicion of robbery and conspiracy. He is being held in Placer County Jail in lieu of $85,000 bail.
Also arrested on suspicion of robbery and conspiracy was Alexandra Lauren Holkko (right photo), 18. Authorities said she is suspected of driving the getaway car. Holkko has since been released on a $50,000 bail bond.
