Detectives from the department's vice and narcotics enforcement team arrested Michael Ramborger (pictured), 45, last week in the 2500 block of Marconi Avenue in Sacramento County's Arden Arcade area. During the arrest, detectives seized six ounces of methamphetamine and a quarter-ounce of heroin, according to a Police Department news release. Authorities said both drugs were packaged for sale. Also seized were a loaded handgun with its serial number removed and other illegal items.
Ramborger was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of drug an weapons offenses and is being held in Sacramento County Jail in lieu of $290,000.
He also is being held without bail on a "flash incarceration" on suspicion of violating the terms of his post release community supervision. Authorities said Ramborger is a state prison parolee classified under AB109 as a "nonviolent, non-serious, non-sex-offender." Post release community supervision offenders are supervised by county probation and local law enforcement officers, rather than state parole officers.
