Possible Antelope arson under investigation

Firefighters are investigating a possible arson in Antelope this morning after putting out a home fire, Sacramento Metro Fire District officials said.

At 2:53 a.m., firefighters received a call of a house fire at 7858 Caber Way. Firefighters saw smoke coming from the house and knocked on the front door. The door was locked and nobody answered, causing firefighters to force entry.

When searching through the house, nobody was found inside.

Firefighters put out multiple fires located in the attic and the hallway of the house.

The fire is currently under investigation.
