Truckee police said they arrested a man who allegedly turned his three-bedroom home into a marijuana growing operation.
Police had been monitoring the home in the Glenshire subdivision on Saxon Way for some time for what they termed "suspicious activity."
Last Thursday morning, detectives detained a person at the residence and went inside the house. There, according to a police press release, they found that the interior had been converted for marijuana growing.
Detectives found about 40 marijuana plants in various stages of growth, with about 20 ready for harvest.
Michael Morrow, 25, of Truckee, was arrested on suspicion of illegal cultivation of marijuana. Police said Morrow was on probation for a previous conviction for the same offense.
