U.S. Marshals and Sacramento sheriff's deputies today arrested a 29-year old Mohave County, Az., man on suspicion of second-degree murder, authorities said.
Zane Kiel Mason was taken into custody around 4 p.m. in the 5000 block of Roseville Road after a three-hour surveillance, according to a U.S. Marshals Service press release. Mason was taken into custody without incident and is being held in the downtown jail on a no-bail extradition hold.
Mason was wanted on suspicion of stabbing and killing Gregory Stephen Zeller, 51, in the victim's Fort Mohave, Ariz., home on Aug. 22, according to the "America's Most Wanted" web site. The program featured Mason's case on Oct. 5 and Sept. 7.
Mason is scheduled for an appearance Tuesday in Sacramento Superior Court
