Cyr,+Rebekah+33.jpgA 33-year-old teacher at Inderkum High School has been arrested, accused of inappropriate conduct with a minor.

Rebekah Cyr (pictured) turned herself in at the Sacramento County jail today following a police investigation. According to the Inderkum High website, Cyr teaches English at the Natomas Unified School District campus.

On Sept. 12, the Sacramento Police Department began an investigation into allegations of inappropriate conduct by Cyr toward a 17-year-old male student. She is accused of making inappropriate advances and communication with the youth, according to a Police Department news release.

The department's sex assault and child abuse investigators were assigned to the case. Their findings were forwarded to the Sacramento County District Attorney's Office on Wednesday, and two misdemeanor warrants were issued for her arrest.

Cyr was arrested on suspicion of annoying or molesting a child and making annoying phone calls. She was booked late this afternoon. Bail was set at $30,000.
