According to the artist's website, a portion of the sales - $5 from each shirt - will benefit the Sacramento Police Canine Association, a non-profit group that has been helping to cover the costs of Bodie's care. The group also helps pay for training for current police K9s and for the medical care of retired dogs.

The shirts were designed by Rose Borisow, who is a Facebook "fan" of the Sacramento Police Canine Association, said police Sgt. Steve Oliveira. According to Borisow's website, T-shirts are available for $23 and long-sleeved shirts are available for $28. Sweatshirts also are available.
