Police said the man was riding his bicycle near Orchard Park, a campus apartment complex, when he approached the girl and asked the whereabouts of her parents. When she failed to answer, he drew close.
"Come home with me," the man said, according to the girl.
He also reached toward the girl before she fled home, police said.
He is described as about 20 years old, gray eyes, with several piercings in the upper part of his right ear, a black oval inserted in his left ear lobe and a ring through his nose. He also had a rose tattoo on his upper left arm, a cross tattoo on his right forearm and a swastika tattoo on his left calf.
Underneath the swastika was penned "love."
He was described as wearing a yellow t-shirt, black shorts and a black and orange baseball cap. He was last seen riding a Magna mountain bike toward Russell Park.
