Arrest made in April burglaries of Auburn Airport businesses

Verbrugge+Photo.jpgAn Alta man has been arrested following a seven-month investigation into burglaries of businesses at the Auburn Airport.

Donald Verbrugge (pictured), 50, was arrested today on suspicion of burglary and grand theft.

Auburn police initially had little information or evidence to go on, but through subsequent investigative work, Verbrugge was identified as a suspect, according to Police Department news release.

Police also are looking for a second suspect.

Anyone with information pertaining to the case is asked to call the Auburn Police Department at (530) 823-4237.
