UPDATE: Missing Elk Grove man found safe, turns self in to police

Elk Grove police reported tonight that 33-year-old Nicholas Lomack turned himself in to the Police Department.

Lomack (pictured) drove away from his Elk Grove residence about 9:30 a.m. today in a 2010 white Toyota Tundra pickup truck (similar to the one pictures) with California license plate 8T78462, according to a Police Department news release. The family member told police that Lomack left his home with a semiautomatic 9mm handgun and was believed to be suicidal.
