Nevada County Sheriff's Office operates regional dispatch center

Effective today, the Nevada County Sheriff's Office has assumed operation of the Regional Dispatch Center in Nevada City.

Sheriff's Office dispatchers will answer all 911 calls and handle all radio traffic for the Sheriff's Office, and the Nevada City, Truckee and Grass Valley police departments.

Each agency's regular business telephone line will be answered by the respective department during regular business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. After hours and on holidays, calls to the business lines will be forwarded to the Regional Dispatch Center and answered by Nevada County dispatchers.
