Sheriff's deputies seek Auburn Boulevard cigarette store robbers

Sacramento County Sheriff's deputies are seeking the identities of two people suspected of the armed robbery of an Auburn Boulevard store.

The say the suspects, a man and a women, entered the Why Pay More Cigarette Store in the 5000 block of Auburn Monday afternoon.

The female pulled a gun on the clerk and demanded money from the cash drawer. The clerk at first refused to open the drawer but complied after the woman hit a low-hanging surveillance camera with her gun and then threatened to shoot the clerk, according to the Sheriff's Department press release.

The two fled with clothing items and an undisclosed amount of money.

The female suspect is described as between the ages of 28 and 32, 5'6" to 5'8" tall and weighing about 165 pounds. The male suspect was described as 16 to 18 years old, between 5'7" and 5'9" tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds. He wore a black Chicago White Sox beanie.
