A man and a woman were arrested following a high-speed chase through Foothill Farms and along Interstate 80.
Sacramento County sheriff's spokesman Sgt. Jason Ramos said deputies were assisting the Sacramento Police Department, which had identified a man wanted on a active felony warrant and who was believed to be in the Foothill Farms area. He was spotted about 5:10 p.m. in a car with another person at Walerga Road and Oak Hollow Drive. The car was seen traveling though an alley, and when officers try to stop it, the vehicle sped away.
Ramos said the pursuit headed south on Roseville Road traveling through the McClellan Park area and reaching speeds of up to 90 mph. The driver eventually entered eastbound I-80 and exited at Greenback Lane. The chase ended at Walnut and Kohler avenues, north of Madison Avenue and west of Auburn Boulevard.
The vehicle blew two tires during the chase but continued traveling at up to 60 mph, Ramos said.
The driver, identified as Jason Law, 33, was arrested on suspicion of weapons violations and evading officers, and for violation of his post release community service. His passenger, Allison Marie Krogsgaard, 25, was arrested on suspicion of weapons violations.
