A Woodland man was arrested Wednesday evening after he was found inside a store where a break-in had been reported.
Woodland police responded about 6 p.m. to a report of a commercial burglary in progress at 420 Grand Ave. When officers arrived, they found that someone had smashed out the front window of the business.
After establishing a perimeter around the building, officers located a man inside the business, according to a Police Department news release. He was later identified as 35-year-old Francisco Javier Tapia Jr.
Tapia was arrested without incident on suspicion of burglary. He was booked into Yolo County Jail with bail set at $20,000.
