A man convicted Monday of stalking a woman, burglarizing her homes and other offenses.
The Sacramento County District Attorney's office said in a press release that Jose Moreno, 32, began his stalking after a break-up with the woman in July 2010. A DA press release said he first repeatedly broke into her home, took personal items, placed spyware on her computer and installed hidden cameras in her bedroom.
When the woman found the cameras she left her apartment but Moreno tracked her to a friend's house, where he spent hours photographing her without her knowledge, according to the press release.
Despite having a restraining owner, the man tracked her to a new residence where Moreno is said to have disabled her burglar alarm and created a key to allow entrance.
He repeatedly burglarized a third house, during which he installed a camera in a heater vent, the press release stated.
