A Roseville man was arrested after he allegedly rammed a vehicle during a dispute with another motorist on Highway 49 near Auburn.
Auburn police reported that their dispatch center received multiple calls about the incident, which occurred shortly before 3:30 p.m. Monday on Highway 49 near Borland Avenue. Mark Mickle, 56, is accused of ramming the back of another vehicle after the other vehicle passed him in a passing area south of the Auburn city limits. Two occupants of that vehicle complained of minor injuries consisting of a sore neck and back from the rear-end impact, according to a Police Department news release.
Mickle left the area before law enforcement officers arrived, but Roseville police later found him at his home. An Auburn officer subsequently contacted Mickle at the residence and arrested him on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
Mickle was booked into Placer County Jail. Police said he was released on $25,000 bail.
