Submitted by: MM gramma, Rocklin
ANSWER: Zubin Dimitri Bogdanoff, 33, remains in Placer County Jail accused of beating an 83-year-old Rocklin man in an alleged road rage incident in November.
According to a story in The Bee, two men were involved in an unspecified traffic conflict shortly before 10 a.m. Nov. 10. Afterward, one followed the other to his home in the 6000 block of Bridal Veil Drive.
After the elderly man parked in his garage and got out of his vehicle, the pursuer kicked and stomped him, causing serious juries, police reported.
A neighbor who witnessed the beating and tried to intervene was also assaulted and injured. The assailant then fled in his vehicle and reportedly attempted to run over a second witness who was calling police.
After a brief search of the area, police arrested Bogdanoff, a Rocklin resident. He is being held on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, burglary, felony elder abuse with injury, and battery. Bail is set at $280,000.
According to Placer Superior Court online records, Bogdanoff's next court date is Feb. 5.
