Auburn police book man for allegedly threatening market employee

Devin Eugene Baker.jpgAuburn police have arrested a man for allegedly threatening a supermarket employee.

Devin Eugene Baker, 20, (pictured) was booked into Placer County Jail on suspicion of making "homicidal threats" to a Save Mart employee, according to a police press release.

Police were called to the Auburn Town shopping center at about 6:45 p.m. Sunday to quell a disturbance. The officer spoke with Baker, but he was not arrested.

About an hour later, officers returned to the shopping center. Officers were told that Baker had made criminal threats to employees at Save Mart.

He was arrested and remains in jail today ineligible for bail, according to online booking records.
