Update: Missing Citrus Heights mother, son found safe in Reno

pics.jpgboy.jpgA woman and her 7-year-old son who had been sought by Citrus Heights police because of concerns about the boy's welfare have been located in Reno.

Danielle Virginia Lake walked into the Reno Police Department with her son, Justice, indicating that she had seen a news story in Reno, according to a Citrus Heights Police Department news release. Reno police, as the request of Citrus Heights police, took boy into protective custody.

Justice Terrence Seiler of Citrus Heights had been last seen at his home on Sunday and was believed to be with his 41-year-old mother.

A police news release stated, "circumstances surrounding the contact of Justice at his home," prompted the request for the public's help in finding the boy.
