Man booked on suspicion of bicycle ride-by shooting in Oak Park

Sacramento police arrested a man for a ride-by shooting into a home in Oak Park.

Police said that they responded about 6 p.m. to a report of a home being fired upon in the 3300 block of 37th Street. Police said a bicyclist rode by the residence and fired multiple shots into the dwelling.

Nobody inside the home was hit. An investigation led officers to Elias Lee Rizak, 36, who was taken into custody at his home. Officers also recovered a firearm.

He was booked into jail on charges that included suspicion of shooting into an inhabited dwelling, assault with a deadly weapon and negligent discharge of a firearm.
