Public's help needed to ID suspect in midtown video

Sacramento police detectives have released a video (below; allow it to slowly load, about 1 minute) of a midtown robbery, hoping that the public can lead them to a culprit who held up two people.

The robbery occurred last month and shows two people being ordered to the ground before a wallet and cell phones are taken.

Officers admit that the face of the robber is not visible on the darkened, fuzzy video. However, detectives hope that someone may recognize the suspect's voice or mannerisms.

The robbery occurred at 26th and H streets at about 9 p.m. on Dec. 20.
