Sacramento police seek help with suspected bank robber ID

composite sketch.JPG The Sacramento Police Department is seeking the public's help in identifying a man suspected of robbing a bank in November.

About 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 29, a man entered the Chase Bank at 3501 Del Paso Road and demanded money from a teller, who complied, according to a Sacramento police news release. The suspect then left the bank and might have fled in a blue, 1990s Toyota or Honda sedan.

The suspect was described as possibly a black man in his 20s with a very light complexion, according to police. He is 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds with dark hair, brown eyes and a faint black goatee. He wore a black baseball cap; a yellow, black and gray plaid, button-down shirt; and a black nylon jacket.

Anyone with information about this suspect is asked to call Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP or text in a tip to 274637. Chase Bank suspect - photo 3.bmp Enter "SACTIP" followed by the information. Callers can remain anonymous and might be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
