Women stabbed in Northgate neighborhood street fight

Sacramento police are investigating a fight that resulted in the stabbing of two women on a city street.

Officers were called about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday to investigate a fight that began near Northgate Boulevard and the Arden Garden Connector. Police said that two vehicles pulled over and the occupants got out.

A fight began, which resulted in the stabbing of the two women. The wounded women got back in their car and drove to Del Paso Boulevard and Southgate Road where they called police.

Homicide detectives were called in due to the seriousness of injury. Nobody has been arrested.

The women were transported to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
