Auburn police have arrested a teen for allegedly setting a grass fire at a school.
The grass fire set on September 18 also damaged some planters and a lattice structure at Skyridge School, 800 Perkins Way, police said.
A school resource officer on Monday arrested the 14-year-old boy for setting the fire. Police said the teen showed remorse and confessed to events that led up to the fire.
He was booked into Placer County Juvenile Hall on suspicion of arson and other unrelated charges.
