Placer detectives seek to identify Loomis burglary suspect

Barn Inside_2013-02-23.jpgPlacer County sheriff's detectives seek the public's help in identifying a burglary suspect whose image was captured on surveillance video in a Loomis barn early Saturday.

The man (pictured) is described as about 40 years old, weighing 150 to 180 pounds, with blond or gray hair. He wore black jeans, a black hooded sweatshirt with a brightly colored pattern on the front and black gloves.

He was seen on video walking through the barn on Creekside Lane in Loomis at 3:34 a.m., according to a Sheriff's Department news release.

Anyone who can identify the man is asked to call Detective Ryan West at (916) 652-2423. Those who wish to remain anonymous are asked to call Placer County Crime Stoppers at (800) 923-8191, or provide a tip online at www.placercrimestoppers.com. Information leading to an arrest could earn the tipster a cash reward of up to $1,000.
