Police ask for help locating missing teenage girl Bedria Williams

Bedria Williams.jpegPolice seek the public's help locating 15-year-old Bedria Williams (pictured), who went missing from her home in Oregon and was last sighted in Sacramento.

The teenager is described as a female African-American/Ethiopian, 5-feet, 2-inches tall and weighing 120 pounds. She went missing Jan. 11 and was last sighted in Sacramento near Greenhaven and Rush River drives Jan. 19, a news release from Sacramento police states.

"Somebody out there locally knows where she is at," her father, Pat Williams, said today in Sacramento.

Pat Williams said he believes his daughter "is being held against her will, possibly for sex trafficking."

A group of 10 volunteers gathered this morning at a Greenhaven Drive strip mall to pass out flyers. A candlelight vigil will be held at 5:30 p.m. today in front of the Vientos Mexican Concina restaurant at 7600 Greenhaven Drive. The public is invited to attend.
