Sherriff's Department asks public's help to locate missing person

The Sacramento County Sheriff's Department is asking the public to be on the lookout for an at-risk man who went missing from his home Friday evening in North Highlands.

Preston Allington, 26, was last seen in the 6900 block of Stoneman Drive at 8 p.m. Feb. 1. He is a white male, 5 feet 7 inches tall weighing 275 pounds. He has brown eyes and short brown hair. He was wearing a black beanie and a red San Francisco 49ers sweatshirt, along with purple and white shorts.

Authorities consider him to be at-risk because of his mental capacity. Allington was also carrying at least one blanket when he went missing.

Anyone with information regarding this disappearance is asked to contact the Sheriff's Department at (916) 874-5115.
