Three suspects pull robbery at Natomas pizza eatery

By Anne Gonzales

Armed robbers made off with cash from a Natomas pizza eatery and some staff and customers' wallets late Saturday, according to Sacramento police.

Three suspects went into Original Pete's pizza restaurant, 4571 Gateway Park, about 10:45 p.m. and ordered the customers and workers to empty their wallets, said police spokesperson Officer Michele Gigante. The robbers fled with money and wallets from the victims, and with money taken from the business's cash register.

All three suspects were black males, described as young adults with thin builds, about 6 feet tall. All three were armed with handguns, Gigante said. The suspects were wearing hooded sweatshirts, two of them with face coverings.
