Thrown bar glass misses target, hits woman, police say

Nijhiss Rowe, 35.jpgSacramento Police arrested a man suspected of hitting a woman with a glass in an Old Sacramento bar Saturday night.

Police said Nijhiss Rowe, 35, threw a glass at a bartender after being asked to leave an establishment on the 1000 block of 2nd Street around 6:30 p.m. But the glass missed the bartender and hit a woman, according to a news release.

The woman was hospitalized with a non-life-threatening injury, and Rowe was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, police said.
