Woodland man arrested after driving vehicle through storefront

A Woodland man was arrested this morning after driving his vehicle through a glass storefront.

Officers were dispatched to a business in the 1200 block of East Main Street about 7:30 a.m. After driving his vehicle into the building, Dennis Cortopassi reportedly entered the business and began throwing items from displays, according to a Police Department news release.

When officers arrived, they located Cortopassi outside the business. He is alleged to have intentionally driven the vehicle through the storefront.

No one was injured in the incident.

Cortopassi was arrested and booked into the Yolo County Jail on suspicion of vandalism, burglary and battery. Bail was set at $50,000.
