Antelope Home Depot armed shoplifter sought by deputies

A gun-toting Home Depot shoplifter is wanted by the Sacramento Sheriff's Department.

Deputies need help in finding the man who entered the Home Depot, 5859 Antelope Road, at 7:20 p.m. March 1. The shoplifter then selected some merchandise and started to head out the door. When confronted by store shoplifting prevention employees, the man pulled out a semi-automatic handgun, according to authorities.

The shoplifter-robber fled in a vehicle.

He is described as a white man in his 20s, about 6 feet 1 inch tall with a medium build. He wore a black baseball cap, black t-shirt and jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to call the robbery bureau at (916) 874-5115.
