Police allege that Officer Travis Cabral saw Ryan Marino, a 29-year-old member of the local Brotherhood Motorcycle Club, buy methamphetamine on Monday in a parking lot near the "Y", the intersection of Highway 50 and Highway 89.
Police said the officer pulled over Marino's unregistered motorcycle in front of Marino's residence in the 1800 block of 10th Street. A frisking of Marino turned up hypodermic syringes, methamphetamine and a hunting knife, police allege.
During a search of Marino's residence, which he shares with girlfriend, Shaleen Pierson, 37, police said they found a sawed-off shotgun, ammunition, a flare gun and drug packaging paraphernalia.
Marino and Pierson were arrested on suspicion of maintaining a residence to sell controlled substances, as well as drug and weapons offenses, police said in a press release.
