Sacramento police arrest man for Molotov cocktail possession

LIU, DAVY -22.JPGSacramento police arrested a man for possessing a Molotov cocktail last night in Del Paso Heights.

Police said they were called to the 3400 block of Branch Street about 9 p.m. where a man reportedly had ignited a Molotov cocktail in the street near an occupied recreational vehicle.

No property damage occurred and no injuries were suffered. The person who allegedly lit the Molotov cocktail was known to the occupants of the RV and officers were able to find Davy Liu, 22, at nearby residence.

He was identified as a suspect and booked into Sacramento County Jail on $1 million bail. Liu was arrested on suspicion of possession, exploding or igniting a destructive device and possession of a destructive device in a public place.
