The man accused of hate crimes in a March 10 attack in Davis will face a Wednesday arraignment and bail hearing in Yolo Superior Court in Woodland.
Clayton Daniel Garzon, 19, faces assault allegations and hate crime enhancements connected to an early morning attack at 3rd and I streets near downtown Davis and is free on bail.
Yolo County District Attorney's officials on Monday won their bid to move Garzon's scheduled April 12 arraignment to this week.
Prosecutors want to return Garzon to custody and increase bail from $75,000 to $500,000, calling the Davis man "an extreme danger to the community."
Garzon faces felony assault allegations in neighboring Solano County connected to a Dixon knife attack in September 2012.
