Two people were injured over the weekend when shot at an Elk Grove bowling alley parking lot.

Elk Grove police were dispatched about 12:45 a.m. Sunday to the Pins N Strikes parking lot, 3443 Laguna Blvd., where a group of teens and young adults were involved in a disturbance. When responding, additional calls came in that a shooting had occurred.

When officers arrived at the scene, two shooting victims had already been transported by private vehicles to the hospital. One male suffered a wound to his ankle and a female had several wounds to her arm and hip.
