Man booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon

A North Sacramento shooting led to the apprehension of a 25-year-old man Saturday night, according to police.

Sacramento police officers responded to the report of a shooting in the 1500 block of Los Robles Boulevard about 8 p.m. Police reports said a suspect shot at someone seated in a vehicle. Bullets reportedly struck the vehicle but didn't injure anyone inside. The victim reportedly knew the assailant.

Police went to a home in the 3400 block of Montrose Avenue about 10:45 p.m. that night and took Billy Hembree into custody. He was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.
