Placer County class to focus on business security issues

The Placer County Sheriff's Office is offering a free class April 25 to help business owners protect themselves and their businesses.

The class is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Loomis Depot conference room, 5775 Horseshoe Bar Road, Loomis. Topics for discussion include identity theft and counterfeiting, dealing with transients, high-tech crimes, business security, crime reporting and arrests, internal theft, and trespassing and parking concerns.
