Sacramento police seek help identifying street-fight participants

Fight photo 1.jpgFight photo 2.jpgSacramento police are asking the public's help in identifying people involved in a large fight that left several injured.

Officers responded to the 1500 block of 21st street about 1:59 a.m. April 14 regarding a fight. They were able to obtain a description of at least two of the vehicles involved. One reportedly was a white Chevrolet Suburban and the other was a white two-door compact car.

Multiple people got out of the SUV and, without provocation, began challenging and fighting random people in a parking lot, according to a Police Department news release. At least one person who was attacked was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, police said. One person reported being struck with a blunt object, and other people were physically assaulted during the incident.Fight photo 3.jpg

Police said detectives believe that the unidentified suspects (pictured) may have gang affiliations.

Anyone who can help identify the individuals in the photos, or who has information pertaining to the investigation, is asked to call the Police Department's Communications Center at (916) 264-5471 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-4357, or text a tip to 274637.
