Woodland police arrest robbery suspects

Police in Woodland say they caught two home-invasion robbery suspects Thursday afternoon.

Shortly after responding to a 4:30 p.m. report of a robbery of an apartment in the 200 block of North College Street, officers found a 17-year-old male suspect and Anjay Singh, 18, of Woodland, with some reported stolen electronics, authorities said. A third suspect is also being sought.

The minor was booked into Yolo County juvenile hall, while Singh was booked into Yolo County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.

During the robbery, authorities say a 13-year-old resident was held outside at gunpoint while two other suspects took the electronics before fleeing.
