Sacramento police announced that Daniel Kirk (pictured), 42, was taken into custody today after a warrant was issued by the Sacramento County District Attorney's Office.
A teenage victim reported that Kirk had sexually assaulted him multiple times over the past four years, according to a Police Department news release. At least one of the alleged assaults is believed to have occurred in Sacramento and other incidents may have occurred while the victim and suspect were together in another jurisdiction, police said.
Kirk is manager of a youth baseball team in Sacramento's north area, and police said detectives are looking for other possible victims who may have had inappropriate contact with Kirk.
