ANSWER: You may be referring to a 2011 shooting outside a store at San Juan Road and Northgate Boulevard in which one man was killed and another injured.
A Sacramento Superior Court jury in April convicted Vincent Richard Rivera and Fred Huante Jr. of first-degree murder in the April 14, 2011 shooting death of Francisco Flores, 19, and the attempted murder of Flores' 20-year-old brother.
According to stories in The Bee, Francisco Flores had robbed Huante in a drug deal at Chuckwagon Park in South Natomas several weeks earlier. Huante and Rivera then went hunting for the suspects in the robbery. Jurors found that three weeks before Flores was killed, Huante and Rivera shot up another car on Northgate Boulevard that looked similar to the robbery suspects' vehicle.
According to online court records, Huante and Rivera are to be sentenced June 7.
