Auburn knife fight victim and suspect sought

Auburn police report a knife fight occurred last night in town, but they are missing both a suspect and a victim.

Officers responded to Auburn Folsom Road and Lincoln Way about 11:40 p.m. where a fight was reported to have taken place. Officers learned that one man stabbed another, but neither combatant could be located.

The man who was stabbed ran away. The man with the knife was last seen leaving in a silver Hyundai Accent with "Marshall Auto Sales" paper plates.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Dustin McLaughlin at (530) 823-4237, ext. 221.
