A male sexually touched and exposed himself to a teenage girl walking on a city street this week, Sacramento police said.

Police released a sketch of the suspect, who may be the same person sought in a string of indecent exposure incidents in South Sacramento.

In the latest incident, a 17-year-old girl was walking near Florin Road and 17th Street in Meadowview about 7 a.m. Wednesday when a man rode up on a white BMX-style bicycle with pink handlebars. He attempted to speak with the girl, but she showed disregard for him and went on her way, police said.

The man then exposed himself. As the girl walked away, he rode his bicycle near her and touched the teen on her rear.

He was described as a Hispanic male, in his late teens or early 20s, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and about 180 to 200 pounds.

In the earlier incidents, the man approached females walking or jogging alone near parks, as well as city streets. Three of the incidents occurred along Gloria Drive.

On each occasion the suspect fled on foot or on a bicycle. Detectives believe the suspect in the earlier incidents to be Hispanic or Asian, 18 to 20 years old, 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, 180 to 200 pounds.

Anyone with information pertaining to the incidents is asked to call the Sacramento Police Department's dispatch center at (916) 264-5471, the Sexual Assaults Division hotline at (916) 808-0584, or Crime Alert at (916) 443-4357. Tips also may be texted to 274637. Enter SACTIP followed by the tip information. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
