UPDATE: Good Samaritan in Roseville missing person case contacts police

mp_susan_jacobson.jpgA good Samaritan who turned in a wallet belonging to a missing Sun City woman has called police, who wished to talk with her regarding any additional information she might be able to provide.

Detectives are still looking for clues in the disappearance of 59-year-old Susan Jacobson (pictured), who was last seen by her husband Wednesday morning, when she said she was going to shop for groceries and run errands around town. Officers found Jacobson's unoccupied dark blue Honda Civic in the Raley's parking lot at Pleasant Grove and Woodcreek Oaks boulevards Wednesday evening.

About 8 a.m. Wednesday, a woman turned Jacobson's wallet in to the Starbucks in the same center, saying she had found it in the lot, according to a Police Department news release. Detectives had sought the public's help in identifying the woman so they could speak with her.

Detectives also ask anyone who may have seen Jacobson during the past few days, or who has information that might help in finding her to call the Roseville police dispatch center at (916) 774-5000, ext. 1.
